Giving Nablopomo another go

So! Last November was NaBloPoMo — National Blog Posting Month — and now The Mrs Kennedy has taken it monthly. Since my newfound chronic disease made doing anything in November impossible other than curling up fetus-style on the bathroom floor, I’m giving it another shot in March. This is aided by the fact that I am on an extremely effective medication and am fully able to do more than stare at hexagonal, black-and-white floor tile from about two inches up.
This month’s theme is Lists, and I am going to pound you with 31 lists in a row, one for every day of the month. Today’s list is this: Things I wanted to accomplish this weekend but did not have the time to, because no vacation is ever long enough, goddammit.
- Take the kids to the Way Public Library
- Visit the Quilt Foundry in Maumee
- Call up old friends for a visit
- Visit my sister during her shift at Big Boy
- buy Cormac a new car seat
- Take the kids to some appropriate child-friendly place-type-thing (Zoo? too fucking cold. Then I ran out of ideas.)
At least I got to wallop my little brother at Wii Bowling, making this weekend nevertheless an unqualified success.

of course you have heard of the new Storyville kid’s section of the Rosedale library. all are raving and say it’s practially hands-off, in other words, it’s set up so well you just set the children loose in there and sit back. i haven’t been yet but probably will be going one of these days. not tomorrow cause i’m sick.
