Why do I even open my mouth?

One night out of five this week. That’s how many times Cormac slept through the night. The rest of the week? One to three wakeups per. I’m dragging, you guys. The constant sleep interruptions are making me sad and stupid. And I can’t believe I thought I could sleep train a baby. A four-month-old, no less. You don’t train babies, babies train you.

Leaving me a comment, eh? Have I mentioned how gorgeous you look in that shirt/kilt/jumpsuit/riding ensemble?

Ah, Grasshopper, but you are laying the foundation. He learns to go to sleep on his own; eventually he learns to go BACK to sleep on his own. It would be so much kinder to parents everywhere if it happened immediately, but really, you already know that this part is just the beginning — and appropriate enough for a four-month-old. Hang in there.

This week my grand daughter (2 months) stayed overnight with me. Two of the 3 nights she slept clear through the night. The other time she was only up once and that was to be changed. Don’t know how well it’s going at the other house but here she’s been sleeping like a “dream.”
I have a prize for you over on my blog. Yipee!

Hang in there! He’s still young and not picking up any bad habits yet. So he’s good. You, on the other hand… right now I can barely keep my eyes open and I got some solid sleep while my husband fed the baby twice last night. Start the coffee!
