As for a shirt, I usually wear a light brown tissue-weight T-shirt over a tank top with this skirt.

I like your wrap skirt and would like to make one. I am in New Port, Or. and there are no book stores here to look for directions on how to make the skirt. Sure would like to have some on line somewhere? Also , what kind of top are you wearing with your wrap skirt that complements it? Thanks, Samantha

Here’s the thing: it’s not a pattern! So you can give it as much coverage as you want. The instructions call for an extra 6” on each wrap piece and I found that to be plenty enough for protection against the flap factor. I’m imagining that if you wanted a little extra insurance, you could just up the inches — 8”, say, instead of 6”.

I love the wrap skirt and would love to make one, but I worry about there not being enough fabric in back to keep it from blowing open. Is this pattern adequate enough for that? I would like to update my wardrobe quite a bit and this wrap skirt looks like a good way to start; plus, eQuilt often has some great fabrics for sale.

I have no problem w/regular patterns but after seeing so many great results from this book, when I stumbled upon a copy yesterday, I snapped it up. Now I want a vintage sheet as pretty as this one… or maybe I’ll have to use my fabric stash. Which would justify buying more fabric.
