Human beings versus the animals

So remember when I heard that rustling in the walls?
Right. So uh, it never really went away. So we’re stepping it up a notch.

And I am so grossed out. Peta would have my ass for this, man! We’re going to be mouse-murderers! Or possibly squirrel-squashers! Bunny-bashers! Rat-wringers!
But you know? If it makes that DAMNED INFERNAL RUSTLING stop for the love of God, I will have absolutely no trouble sleeping at night.

Leaving me a comment, eh? Have I mentioned how gorgeous you look in that shirt/kilt/jumpsuit/riding ensemble?

Think of it as keeping bubonic plague from getting a foothold.
Rustling in the walls reminds me when I was a kid and I’d hear scratching and rustling in the ceiling above my bed. I complained to my parents and they were convinced it was a shrub rustling against the side of the house.
A couple weeks later my dad went up into the attic for something and was confronted by a rat that he swore was the size of a cat. I’m fairly sure he was stretching the truth a bit. I hope he was.
Gah. I’m still a bit freaked out about a huge rat being above my head as I layed in bed.

Could be bats… is there weird squeeking involved?

Then there was the story of the young couple parked at the graveyard. She swore she heard a noise he thought she was being silly. They eventually sped away and that night found a bloody stump of a hand in the door handle!!

Dad, that’s the perfect story to hear when it’s dark and there is skrittering in the eaves!!
