Drama has moved in and is sleeping on our sofa

I was originally going to call this one “Drama Don’t Live here Anymore,” but that’s patently untrue.
So! What have we got, oh yes:
- Iain caught what Owen had over the weekend. Brotherman cannot seem to catch a break this season, health-wise. It’s awful.
- Owen had maybe 30 hours of good health before yet another bug got him: Right now he’s napping feverishly. They had to call me at work to come get him today. Fever of 102.9. Bitchy as hell. And currently dosed up on kiddie motrin.
- I myself am in the throes of the throbbing agony of a toothache. Lesson learned: If your dentist tells you to get your wisdom teeth pulled, get your damn wisdom teeth pulled, or otherwise six months later you’ll be screaming on the inside as you try to hit up coworkers for that elusive merrymaker I like to call Ibuprofen.
- I am having major internet blog drama. OMG, the drama. Indicted and held without bail in the court of Internet Crazies. I have learned a lesson from this, too: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, and maybe I’ll figure out that people will just keep on taking advantage if I let them. Christ, I’m a slow learner.
Why does this shit always happen all at once? Sweet Jesus, let me have just one day to catch my breath. God.
(Oh, and Drama? Take your duffle bag and fuck off. Nobody wants to see you around here.)

Well, I’m on outfit #3 and Matilda is on outfit #4. She’s already had two baths today and I had to clean up poop off the kitchen floor (from more than two locations) and the laundry, OMG it just keeps coming. So! You know I want to know *all about* this blog drama.

Internet blog drama? Is it something you can cure with just telling someone to shut the fuck up? Try it anyway because even if it doesn’t work it’s awfully satisfying. Even more if your jaw is throbbing at the same time.

Ibuprofen for a toothache? I hope it’s working. One time I needed a root canal and until it happened, I could only stop crying by taking codeine. Regular painkillers hardly touched the pain. Do you have an appointment coming up? Get yourself to the dentist woman!

before i was able to go the dentist to have my root canal taken care of, a friend gave me some of her percozet (sp?). i took half, half!, and i thought i was gonna die. the stuff messed me up worse than the toothache and it never even relieved the pain. i couldn’t believe people actually get addicted to that stuff. horrible.
blog drama is the worst kind i think. i mean, like the day to day bs isn’t bad enough that the online fun has to be tainted by people’s inability to use some common sense? i hope things get better for you soon. ♥

so the ibuprofen is working, which makes me think I can last til March 30 when I’m getting ‘em yanked.
And the drama … Maybe I’ll write more about it, maybe I won’t. I feel the need to defend myself, but even that is a byproduct of the manipulation.
What I do know is that I feel beautifully liberated. Sometimes you don’t realize how controlling someone is being until you truly write them off. And then it’s so refreshing!
